This month’s trivia supports the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration—a local, volunteer-run nonprofit that supports our region’s mining heritage. Their chapter partners with the National Mining Museum here in Leadville, volunteers with SmartBellies in Summit County, and is working toward future scholarships and fundraising events for community programs.
