Here we are again, back with another banger to help you make the best choice for your wedding from among the most desirable Colorado mountain wedding venues.
If you do it right, you’ll only ever get married once, so where and how you choose to do it is pretty significant.
For as long as you live and whatever else happens after your wedding, it will always be the place where you got married and started a new chapter of your lives.
So, if you can select a spot with wonderful views or some other memorable quality, why wouldn’t you want to do that?
Note: As with all our other lists, these are not ranked in any particular order.
Also Note: Each of the Colorado mountain wedding venues on this list has a link in its section title so you can visit their websites and browse their photos.

1. Freight Leadville (Leadville)
We’re not going to leave ourselves off a list like this, and that really shouldn’t surprise anyone. But we also want to admit our own biases upfront.
Cards on the table: We genuinely do think we’re your best option, but we also have plenty of strong incentives to make us think that. And while we would certainly prefer for you to choose Freight Leadville, we also want that choice to be informed and educated so that you’re as happy with it as you can possibly be.
With that in mind, have a look through our photo gallery and see what you think.

& Experience Leadville
Planning a mountain wedding in Colorado? Freight Leadville combines modern design, mountain views, and on-site lodging in the heart of Leadville. If you’re looking for a venue that feels intentional and relaxed, let’s talk.
Schedule a Call2. Lionscrest Manor (Lyons)
This is really more in what we might call the foothills of the Rockies, but it’s mountainy enough, so we’re still counting it.
Visual Appeal: Like several of the other Colorado mountain wedding venues on this list, Lionscrest Manor really earns its spot with its magically beautiful ceremony space. I mean, just look at the photo of it below and then try to argue that it couldn’t be the background for a movie set in a fictional fantasy world or the Old West.
We don’t know if it’s Narnia, an old Clint Eastwood flick, or something else, but we could almost swear we’ve seen it in a movie before.

3. Della Terra Mountain Chateau (Estes Park)
Overlooking the gorgeous mountain town of Estes Park, Della Terra Chateau is a venue we’ve mentioned in other articles before, and for good reason.
Get what you pay for: If you’re a fan of stone architecture, stone bridges, and other things made of stone, then you should look into Della Terra. It’s not the cheapest option on this list, but you probably could have guessed that based on appearances.
However, as with so many other things in life, you do get what you pay for.

4. Rhize Weddings (Colorado Springs)
Like Lionscrest Manor, Rhize Weddings is sort of in the foothills, as indeed all of Colorado Springs is.
Smaller space in a big place: Their main outdoor ceremony space overlooks a stunning landscape and is ideally suited for smaller, more intimate wedding ceremonies. And with on-site lodging options and a few different wedding packages, Rhize is one of the more convenient venues out there.
It’s a great choice if you’re planning to have 20-40 guests or fewer.

5. The Sebastian (Vail)
Vail is one of the most famous ski towns in all of the Rockies, and The Sebastian is one of the most famous venues in Vail.
Well, it’s a resort: As a ski resort would, The Sebastian offers luxurious suites, spa facilities, and other goodies in addition to the panoramic 360-degree views that are the primary reason people book there. We won’t lie to you; you’ll probably spend some money here, especially if you’re getting married during the ski season (winter).
It’s worth asking: You could potentially negotiate some sort of a discount if you are willing to schedule your ceremony for off-season. If not, you can always just go there later at some point, just as a couple, to enjoy a weekend ski trip.
And you don’t necessarily need to blow your whole wad on your wedding ceremony.

6. Telluride Ski Resort (Mountain Village)
As one would expect, one of the top Colorado mountain wedding venues is a ski resort.
Surroundings make a difference: In addition to having the views and landscapes that a good ski resort is bound to have, it’s also located in Telluride, which is one of the state’s most scenic and charming mountain towns. So, just as in Leadville, you don’t only get the views of the mountains but also the classic aesthetic of the town itself.
We really think that having an attractive little old town around you, in addition to the sweeping landscapes and steep mountain peaks, is a dramatically underrated selection criterion for wedding venues.

7. The Sunrise Amphitheater (Flagstaff Mountain)
With a maximum capacity of 100 people, this is a venue meant for small, private events.
The people’s venue: It’s also important to note that this one is owned and operated by the city of Boulder itself, so it’s basically a public park.
But the people should be aware: That means you won’t necessarily be able to expect the same level of facilities as at privately owned venues. There is no electricity or running water, and the bathrooms are latrines that are cleaned weekly.
So, you’ll want to schedule and organize things around that if you choose this venue.

There’s No Place Like The Rockies
We always feel a bit guilty making lists like this because there are so many other Colorado mountain wedding venues that we haven’t mentioned. And it’s not because they aren’t great; it’s just that we only have so much space and time to write about them.
What we can say, though, is that, although the ones we’ve mentioned here are not the only great options you’ve got, they are all great options. You can’t go wrong with any of them.
